Is Melaleuca a Pyramid or an MLM?

I feel like I need to clear the air about a certain subject that seems to be going around the internet, that is false.

Most people describe Melaleuca as being a Mlm and/or a Pyramid which is False.

Melaleuca is Direct Marketing Company which means that you make money if you want to.

You can join Melaleuca by just being a consumer or you can join Melaleuca to go into business.

Should you decide to join Melaleuca as a consumer you don’t have to open accounts or share with anybody.

You’re saving 30 to 40% on store bought products, eliminating toxins in your own home, which gives you the opportunity to live a happier and healthier life and you are participating in bettering our environment for our future generations.

Should you join Melaleuca as a business owner, you are not only saving 30 to 40% and eliminating toxins in your own home but helping other do the same which will have a long lasting effect on our environment.

The more people choose to consume Melaleuca the more impact it will have in our environment, Melaleuca averages 800 000 orders a month.

Now that may sound like allot of families to you but it’s not when you think that we serves approx: 16 different Countries.

We do need allot of business minded people to help make a difference, but the truth lies that 62% of our members are just consumers.

As a consumer if you wish to open an account for a friend or family member that is fine.   You will get commission just for that one account that you opened.

Should that friend or family member that you opened an account for, decides that they want to make a home based business out of Melaleuca they will be signing up allot of people and get bonuses and commissions from all the people they signed up and you will only get commissions from that friends monthly order, not from his downline, does this sound like a pyramid and/or Mlm. (Far from It)

You are in first position signing up a friend and you make less money than him, because you decided not to get involved in the business.

The way Melaleuca works, is anybody who signs in is in first position of their own tree.

So your sitting at home making a small commissions from your only friend that you signed up, while your friend is making tons of money by opening accounts up to all the people he/she knows that are interested in making a difference in our environment.

So seeing that the person you signed up is under you, why is he/she making more money than you?

Because we are not a Pyramid or an Mlm.

We are Direct Marketers.

Another Myth that I Want to Clear Up:

People on the internet are saying that with Melaleuca we are obliged to order every month.

That is a total crock.

The only thing that you are obliged to in your life is to wash yourself, brush your teeth and keep your home clean.

Melaleuca suggest that you transform your home to their products because they are safe for our environment and they want to make sure that you keep up the good work taking care of our environment.

Old habits die hard:

Most of us are in the habit of running to the store every time we need something for ourselves or our home.
